Hello, I’m Grace a junior English major at the University of Nebraska. Being in the College of Arts and Sciences has enabled me to learn so much within my field of study and beyond as I worked to complete ACE credits and CDRs. CAS encourages students to try new things and explore possibly interests through these required courses. UNL has one of the best English departments for undergrad and graduate students, so it’s very hard to pick a favorite class when I have had so many amazing professors. I love how discussion based and open my classes are, they create a safe space to share your thoughts and learn from your peers. I highly recommend exploring more specific options when it comes to choosing English courses, find something that is an interest of yours. This will make your experience much more engaging and interesting because you are learning about literature you care about. And hey, you might even see me around, Andrew’s Hall is like a second home!
